How do I start working with Cojean Studio?

1. Reach Out – Contact through the form on the contact page or by email, letting me know what design services you need. Share any existing designs you’d like me to build from—or if we’re starting fresh.

2. Consultation – We’ll schedule a free 1-hour design consultation. I’ll ask you to bring a few examples of design styles or elements you’re drawn to. During the consult, we’ll discuss your needs, inspiration, timeline, and budget.

3. Proposal & Contract – Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a proposal outlining your services, deliverables, check-in dates, and an itemized budget. Once the contract is signed and the 25% deposit is received, your project is officially underway!

How long does the design process usually take?

Timelines vary depending on the scope of your project.

• A logo (+ brand guide) typically takes about 1 week.

• A full branding with a website design usually takes 2–3 weeks.

• Larger projects, such as a detailed website with 5+ pages, may take up to 4 weeks.

Most projects are completed with a quick turnaround under 2 weeks, and you’ll receive a clear timeline in your proposal.

Can you update my existing designs, or do we need to start from scratch?

Absolutely. I can work with an existing design, an idea, a design element, or a blank slate. Sometimes a simple refresh is all that’s needed, while other times reworking certain elements ensures your brand message is clear and consistent across all platforms. If you’d like me to update an existing design, I’ll need the original design file. If that’s not available, I may be able to recreate it—just keep in mind this may add a little extra time to your project.

What happens if I need design support after the project is finished?

I’m here to help even after your project wraps up. You can reach out anytime to schedule a free design check-in to talk through questions or challenges. If new work falls outside the original proposal, I’ll provide an updated proposal, contract, and fee estimate.

For ongoing needs, I also offer retainer options (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) for services like website maintenance or social media content creation. This ensures you always have design support when you need it, at a flat hourly fee. Otherwise, all consultations and check-ins remain free—I’m always happy to hop on a call to make a plan.

Do you work with specific industries, or can you help any type of business?

I work with a wide range of clients, but I specialize in supporting small businesses, start-ups, content creators, and non-profits. For smaller projects or individual services, I offer flat-fee pricing with quick turnaround times. For larger projects, I create custom bundles with a timeline and budget tailored to your needs, including discounts for bundled services.

Do you work with non-profits?

Yes! I proudly support non-profits. Cojean Studio offers free design services for 501(c)(3) organizations. For ongoing work such as website maintenance or social media content, non-profits receive 75% off standard pricing.
